PVZ30-2.22-120 is a compact, explosion-protected LED floodlight developed and manufactured in-house for efficient illumination of industrial facilities, process equipment, production areas, and warehouses.

The floodlight has been designed with the requirements for lighting equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in mind. It is designed for applications in Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (dust).

Combining compact dimensions, a low weight of just 1.3 kg, a robust aluminium housing, a corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish, an IP67 protection rating, and a versatile mounting system, the PVZ30-2.22-120 offers a practical lighting solution for demanding industrial environments.

Design and Construction Features

Floodlight Housing

The housing is manufactured from high-quality AD31 aluminium alloy, known for its good thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and low weight.

The housing surface features a protective powder-coated finish, providing additional resistance to corrosion, mechanical wear, and adverse environmental conditions.

The housing design enables efficient passive heat dissipation from the LED module without the need for cooling fans.

Optical System

The optical system features a protective lens made from flame-retardant polycarbonate.

A wide 120° beam angle provides broad illumination of industrial working areas.

The 3000 K colour temperature produces warm white light, while the CRI 80 colour rendering index ensures good colour reproduction and visual clarity.

Electrical Connection Box

The separate electrical connection box is manufactured from flame-retardant polycarbonate and equipped with terminal blocks for convenient connection of the power supply cable.

Cable entry is provided through an ATEX-rated PG7 cable gland.

Mounting Bracket and 360° Adjustment

The mounting bracket is manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium and features the same protective powder-coated finish as the floodlight housing.

The bracket allows installation on horizontal, vertical, and inclined surfaces.

The floodlight housing can rotate through 360° relative to the mounting bracket, providing flexible adjustment of the light direction to suit different installation requirements.

In addition to conventional surface mounting, the floodlight can be used as a suspended luminaire by fitting an eye nut to the mounting bracket.
