The PVZ30-2.22-L60 is a compact explosion-protected LED floodlight designed and manufactured by NOT Company, Ukraine. It is intended for efficient illumination of industrial facilities, technological equipment, production areas, and warehouses.

The floodlight has been developed with consideration of the requirements for lighting equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres. It is designed for use in gas hazardous Zone 2 and dust hazardous Zone 22.

A distinctive feature of this model is its optical system incorporating a borosilicate glass lens secured by a stainless steel holder. The 60° beam angle provides more focused directional illumination compared to the 90° version.

The combination of compact dimensions, low weight of 1.3 kg, a durable aluminium housing, corrosion-resistant powder coating, IP67 protection rating, and a versatile mounting system makes the floodlight suitable for installation and operation in demanding industrial environments.

Design and Construction Features

The floodlight housing is manufactured from high-quality AD31 aluminium alloy, offering excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and low weight. The housing surface is finished with a protective powder coating, providing additional resistance to corrosion, mechanical impact, and adverse environmental conditions.

The housing design ensures efficient passive heat dissipation from the LED module without the need for cooling fans.

The optical system features a borosilicate glass lens, offering high thermal resistance, resistance to temperature fluctuations, and good chemical durability.

The lens is mounted in a specially designed stainless steel holder, ensuring reliable mechanical fixation and excellent corrosion resistance.

The 60° beam angle concentrates the luminous flux in the required direction, providing efficient illumination of working surfaces, technological equipment, and designated production areas.

The 3000 K colour temperature produces warm white light, while the colour rendering index of CRI 80 ensures natural colour perception of illuminated objects.

The electrical connection box is made of flame-retardant polycarbonate and is equipped with terminal blocks for convenient power cable connection. The cable enters through a special ATEX-type PG7 cable gland.

The mounting bracket is manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium and, like the floodlight housing, is finished with a protective powder coating. This provides additional resistance to moisture and adverse environmental conditions.

The bracket design allows the floodlight to be installed on horizontal, vertical, and inclined surfaces.

The floodlight housing can rotate through 360° relative to the mounting bracket, providing flexible adjustment of the light direction.

In addition to conventional surface mounting, the design also allows the floodlight to be used as a suspended luminaire by installing an eye nut on the mounting bracket.

The PVZ30-2.22-L60 floodlight has been developed for intended use in potentially explosive atmospheres, taking into account the requirements of European Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) and the EN IEC 60079 series of standards.

Intended hazardous areas:

• Zone 2 (Gas Atmospheres) — Equipment Group II, Category 3G, Equipment Protection Level (EPL) Gc.

• Zone 22 (Combustible Dust Atmospheres) — Equipment Group II, Category 3D, Equipment Protection Level (EPL) Dc.

Depending on the final design and protection concept, the following standards are relevant to conformity assessment:
